Winning the Last 90 Days Requires Preparation

List remaining goals

It’s impossible to have met every goal. So ask yourself “what about areas which need improvement?” Do you really want to admit defeat on these with 3 months left?  I didn’t. Therefore, when I saw the #Last90Days Challenge, I thought it was a great chance to finish the year strong. The next step…naming specific goals and identifying concrete actions.

Define personal year-end goals

Winning the last 90 days requires preparation. Look back at your list of things to do more or less of in 2018. Choose 5 that you want to crush during the last 90 days. These are mine.

  • Time spent with God. I am committing to reading my Bible each day through the end of the year.
  • Bless my home. I am feeling a call to simplify and streamline now that our sons are in college. So, I am committing to 4-5 hours per week of decluttering, organizing and creating a calm space.
  • Focus on the holidays. All of us can get stressed out by all the things to do. So, I’m using a FREE resource to keep me on track…The Holiday Planner.
  • Focus on self-care.  I’m going to make my emotional well-being a priority. I’m going to schedule it and protect it for a few minutes each day….and for a bit longer on weekends.
  • Work on my business. This is the scariest one. I’ve brainstormed and planned, but my procrastination and fear have taken over. So I’m promising myself that I will write every day.

Let’s do this #Last90Days thing

If you want to take part in the #Last90Day Challenge, figure out what you need to focus on for the next 90 days. It can be big or small, but it’s all moves us forward. Let’s see if we can joyfully celebrate the holidays and get a head start on 2019. If you’re ready for the next step, use this easy process to define your “5 to Thrive.”

Happy #Last90Days!
