5 websites I couldn’t live without during COVID-19

Next we needed tylenol

Another item I couldn’t find at my local store was acetaminophen….or any over-the-counter cold medications. I also realized my sons (who are in college) needed an easy, space saving way to be prepared for whatever might come in the way of the COVID-19 pandemic. I found Cabinet. This company is genius! I got the Preparedness Kit which includes 100 acetaminophen (500mg); 48 softgels of daytime cold/flu relief; 48 softgels of nighttime cold/flu relief and two hand sanitizer sprays for $30. They have other kits ranging from sleep aid, allergy relief and even 3 new personal protection kits. Subscriptions are also available.

Where are the cleaning supplies

Next I needed cleaning supplies. Grove Collaborative became my go to for effective and environmentally friendly home products. Grove Collaborative makes it possible to subscribe to items I use often. Each month, I have the opportunity to choose which ones are included in the next monthly shipment. Browsing for additional products is simple. I like the large number of environmentally safe cleaning and household supplies. This site has enabled me to keep wipes and sanitizing products in stock during the pandemic.

Keeping us healthy

Our lifestyle became focused on healthful habits, so I started looking for products to help with wellness and healthy eating. Vitacost fit the bill. Like other companies I love, this site enables me to reorder quickly whenever I am ready. There are a huge number of products from vitamins to cooking products to household supplies. The prices are excellent and sales are common. Although I don’t have any little ones at home, they also have a wide-selection of baby supplies from a wide-variety of companies.

Working out from home

I have an amazing health coach (you can find her here). About three years ago, I started eating more intentionally and working out regularly. She told me about Vitacost (which I described earlier) and also Beachbody. It’s an online physical fitness platform which also provides nutrition programs and supplements. These workouts and support groups have been my lifeline during Covid-19. I am convinced the probiotics and balanced nutrients in the Shakeology have helped me keep my immune system working. There is a workout program for every fitness level and type of exercise. Plus, having 100’s of workouts to choose from keeps the boredom away.

  • Grove Collaborative: eco-friendly home essentials
