#Last90Days: Personalize Your 5 to Thrive
How to personalize your 5 to Thrive
Rachel’s list is awesome, however, I felt like I needed to individualize the list a bit. Frankly, if I’m totally honest, I will not get in 30 minutes a day of exercise or get up an hour earlier each day. I thought about the areas addressed by her list: health, fitness, habits, gratitude, and self-care. I could use these categories as jumping off point. After several tries, I came up with my own “5 to Thrive” list which I will focus on between now and the end of the year to reach my goals for 2018 and to begin 2019 strong.
- Drink 1/2 my body weight in ounces of water each day.
- Daily Bible reading and devotion time.
- Exercise more often than not each week…so 4 days a week.
- Limit my connectivity by having set times each day for social media and email. Also, I’m turning off notifications.
- Writing daily. I want to begin a blog by 2019 and it starts with the habit of writing each day (100-500 words).
End 2018 Strong
Use Rachel’s list as a jumping off point and see if you can make your own individualized “5 to Thrive.” It’s NOT about perfection. If I do these things more days than not, I will be in a stronger place heading into 2019. Half the battle was just identifying areas I need to improve…or develop a habit. Try it! End 2018 on a high note…and with a running start into 2019.
Happy #Last90Days!
